Lancang-Mekong Science and Technology Cooperation Initiative on Cross-border Data Flow is jointly launched by the Yunnan Provincial Academy of Science and Technology and other institutions. Relying on the Lancang-Mekong Innovation Corridor Seminar, the initiative promotes the six countries to reach a consensus on the secure flow of data and the collaborative governance of the digital economy, facilitates the flow of innovation factors and technical cooperation in the Lancang-Mekong region, and provides institutional guarantee for the development of the regional digital economy.
